Update # 1 - February 20, 2025

The support staff at Calgary Catholic Board of Education have officially served strike notice. As a result, Lake Ridge Community Church is unable to meet as usual at Our Lady of Wisdom School this Sunday or for as long as this labour action persists.

We have secured space at Camp Chestermere, 1041 E Lakeview Rd, Chestermere in the Lodge (Main Hall) for this Sunday, February 23. We will be meeting at our normal time of 10:30 am this Sunday, and you’re welcome to stay for a hot dog lunch afterwards, it will just look a little different.

We are making good plans for the coming weeks, which we will announce soon, so please keep an eye on your emails. Staff and Leadership welcome your prayers as we pivot and prepare to meet in a new location for a short while. Once the strike is over, we plan to return to Our Lady of Wisdom School.
